Orillo first saw the light of day in 1978, it was formed by Charles Derek White and two family members, the first office was a small retail/trade outlet in Park Street, Worcester.

The company quickly grew in size and reputation, built on a solid foundation of Sales and Service with competitive prices, all three family members worked in the shop and sold all manner of goods with style and panache.

Orillo became known as the Friendly Company and as turnover grew in Worcester the head office was moved to Foundry Street, a trade counter and showroom were added and warehousing/despatch facilities quickly followed.

In 1984 Orillo expanded to Ombersley Street, Droitwich and the first branch was opened, with one Branch Manager working the Droitwich area.

With ongoing expansion in the Worcester Branch, increase in company turnover and success in the Sub Branch, by 1991 further expansion was planned, with the result that the Malvern Branch was opened and very quickly proved to be a great success. Evesham branch followed in 1992 and likewise quickly proved its worth.

During the years 1993 to 1999 consolidation of the Company took place, and restructuring of the Company Systems were put into place. With the advent of Computerisation throughout the company, tight monetary control and stocking levels were made possible, resulting in further growth in all areas of the business.

In 2000 with the new Millenium Orillo again set out on a cautious, deliberate expansion by adding the Redditch branch to the company portfolio and further expansion is planned during the next 5 Years.

From the original 3 Family members who started the Company in 1978, two are still running the company and the work force has grown to 31 full time members of staff with varying numbers of part-time employees. The small retail/trade outlet opened in Park Street has now grown to a multi million pound company offering friendly service, experienced staff, competitive pricing and a positive attitude to the future.

Complete refurbishment of the Showrooms in Worcester were completed in 2000, on display are ranges of Bathroom Suites including Armitage Shanks, Ideal Standard, Heritage, Lecico, Qualceram, Laufen and Chatsworth. Harold Moore Baths, Victoria and Albert roll top, free standing baths, Shower Enclosures including Manhattan, Metropolitan and Showerlux. Mira, Sirrus Aqualisa and Galaxy Showers, Utopia Bathroom Furniture, Brassware by Bristan, Marflow and Eurobath, Towel Warmers by Myson, Vienna, Acova and Vogue. Radiators by Vienna Line and Radiator Covers, Wet Wall Panelling, Roper Rhodes and Tavistock Aspen fittings.

From the Trade Counters in all our branches we distribute all manner of Plumbing & Heating Supplies, from Boilers to end feed fittings and everything in between.
